The Importance of Spaying/Neutering Your Dog

1.  There is an extreme overpopulation of dogs/cats in the U.S. today.

2.  You can’t be sure what will happen to the puppies born after they leave your care.

Only 1 in 5 puppies and kittens stay in their original home for his/her natural lifetime.  The other 4 are abandoned to the streets or end up at a shelter. Source:  The Humane Society of the United States.

3.  Breeding animals for profit is WRONG and UNFAIR to the animal.

4.  It costs taxpayers money and destroys creatures who have done nothing wrong.

Over $2 billion is spent annually by local governments to shelter - and ultimately destroy  8-10 million adoptable cats and dogs because of a shortage of homes.

Need we say more?  It is our responsibility as pet owners to spay/neuter our friends.  That is why Precious Pups helps in every way we can.  Through our Spay/Neuter Assistance program, you can have your dog spayed/neutered for $40.00 or less.  You owe it to your pet, your companion… your friend.
