Jim & Lisa

Founders of Precious Pups Animal Rescue

Over the years Jim & Lisa have become the voice for those who can not speak.  I have recently become a part of their lives and part of Precious Pups. All I can say is the world is a better place with people like you. The dogs you save, and continue to save, have a better life because of you. God Bless You!

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a higher quality of life for dogs of all ages.  Precious Pups Animal Rescue currently has a small shelter of its own, and we work in collaboration with the local animal shelters and area dog owners.  We have an aggressive spay/neuter program that provides financial assistance to dog owners.  We also assist in finding homes for dogs that are lost, abandoned, abused, or in need of medical attention.

Our not-for-profit organization helps dogs in a variety of ways, including:

  • Arranging for prospective adopters to visit dogs that need homes

  • Advertising for dogs that need to be adopted

  • Providing supplementary financial assistance to owners for dogs that need to be spayed or neutered

  • Providing non-financial assistance to dog owners that would improve a dog’s quality of life

  • Promoting public education concerning responsible, committed dog ownership.

WHY ARE WE DOINGTHIS?

We love dogs! While the local animal shelters do what they can, we all have limited resources.  Too many good dogs are sheltered that should be in loving homes.  Sometimes, dogs are abandoned in lieu of paying the fee to shelter a dog.  In some instances, dogs are not adopted from shelters because owners can’t afford the costs.

We only ask to be reimbursed for our medical expenses for All dogs adopted through our organization.

Our goals are simple: By stressing the importance of spaying and neutering your animals, fewer will end up abandoned, abused or in shelters.  We know that circumstances occur that owners sometimes need to give up their pet - so we try to make it easy for responsible new owners to adopt them.
